Skipper talks
It´s with a great pleasure and satisfaction that I can note that our Swedish players do great on the different tours around the world.

The "Swedish Golf Wonder" surprises a lot of people around the world and I think that we can expect more to come in the future. Annika Sörenstam, Jesper Parnevik are just two of our Swedish welknown stars.

Since lm not training Jesper today my personal hopes this year concerns two of the players I help now. Chris Hanell who has started great this season by his win at Madeira on the European Tour and Daniel Chopra that got his US-tour card this year. Dan has really showed his capacity by his first victory in America at the Nation Wide Tour a few weeks ago.

"As long as they don´t get violent, I want to let everyone say what they wish, for I myself have always said exactly what pleased me." – Albert Einstein

Chopra sets World record!
Daniel Chopra amazed a hole golf world by shooting 30 under par at the Nation Wide Tour in Richmond, Virginia. By this Dan earned his second Nationwide Tour title of 04 when he won the Henrico County Open with the amazing score 65-63-65-65. This puts him in the history book of records together with Erni Els. Chopra and Els are the only ones able to present a tournament result at 30 under par. Dan's achievement is very promising for the future.

His coach Olof Skipper s
ays - "A vision has come true. When I was working with Jesper Parnevik I used to upset him by stating that his par should be 65. When he shot a 68 I used to comment that by saying, nice round but still 3 plus. Now Dan is the first player that I coach, to realize the goal of shouting under par 65 in 4 consecutive rounds. Congratulations Dan."

Peter Broms is the layer that helped Olof Skipper to win the 10 times largest amount of money in swedish court history regarding slander. The Swedish Golf Federation was accused with gross slander because of their slander campaign against Skipper. The exploit put them in Guinness book of records. The case itself shows how dangerous it is to try to put new ideas on the market.

Even tough Skipper has worked with so many successful athletes, his struggle to implement these good ideas has been hard over the years. Hopefully the new interesting golf patent that Peter now is helping Skipper to develop will change this sad fact.

The patent is a new golf training device that will help average golfers as well as professionals to swing better. So far it´s a well kept secret what it´s all about, but it has to do with how we can utilize our physical and mental resources in a better and more effective way.

In the development of the product Swedish top players as Jesper Parnevik, Anders Forsbrand, Adam Mednick, Johan Tumba, Daniel Chopra, Dennis & Tony Edlund, Joakim Rask, Chris Hanell has been involved. Combined with Skippers learning's from his lessons with hundreds of average golfers, one can only guess how interesting this training device will be. It´s said to make a paradigm shift in golf and it will change the way we think in golf and how we understand and learn the golf swing today. It´s comparable with the change from diving to the Fosbury flop in high jumping. It´s a much longed for and highly needed change in golf.

The project is running and they hope to be able to release the product at the market next year. We are waiting with excitement.

Congratulations to Chris!!
Chris Hanell got his first victory at his second appearance on the European Tour this year.

The victory means that Chris gets an exemption for the coming two years. This makes his planning much easier. By this we have reached our first goal in "Project Turn Around"

.

Chris Hanell

After a long period of rest, recover and rebuilding this winter, it´s great to se the results of all the hard work. Chris has bought a new house in Phoenix that now is his base for training an practicing. By changing his eating habits, working with mental training and the latest knowing's about the golf swing, Chris is now hopefully able to give the other tour players a great and competitive match.

The win is a receipt that shows that Chris is working at the right things. In the future you are welcome to follow his development as a player here at www.skippercoach.com.

Interesting fact!
The food is more important than you think!
We have all heard that it is important to eat healthily, but do we really take this fact seriously? Studies that we have conducted on top-level sportsmen and women in fact prove the opposite.

Not only golf players but also most sportsmen and sportswomen tend to underestimate the effect the diet has on the results. Skipper’s company FrontEdge that conducts research on human performance, carried out a study on the Olympic teams competing in Calgary and Sydney. The results are alarming if you are aware of how much you can actually benefit from a diet that matches your personality type and requirements.

Trough our practical work in our collaboration with golf players and other high achieving individuals we have seen amazing results. Racing driver Rickard Rydell goes as far as saying that the changes he has made to his life have saved his life.

We yet again would like to congratulate Rickard to his successes and thank him for going out and telling people about the possibilities that stand within reach for all individuals. Through the right diet and mental preparation anyone can reach new heights.

Today there are hundreds and thousands of chemicals that are allowed to put into our food. Among them some sweeteners. One of them is named Aspartam. You can find it in sodas and in many of the light products on the market.

Did you know that Aspartam transforms to methanol and the highly toxic poison Toxyl at 37°C (the body's normal temperature). In high doses it´s poisonous and a harmful substance for the body and the nervous system.

It´s great to practice putting and to work at your mental routines. But if the brain doesn´t get the right fuel it´s useless anyhow. That´s why I chose to use a holistic approach in my coaching. Including your eating habits, your mental strategies, and your technique and your physical training.

Their´s not room to go more deeply into this exiting and important subject right here. But I hope that this brief insight can inspire you to learn more about the great possibilities that lays in front of everyone that is careful with what to put in to the mouth.
